Symptoms or Error
Customer having an issue with Workspace on the Chromebooks. The 'Citrix PDF Printer' is not auto creating when logging into a Windows 10 desktop session. The 'Auto-Create PDF Universal Printer' policy is set to enabled, but it's not creating the printer when logging into a session. Logging in from a Windows computer the Citrix PDF Printer is auto creating. When logging in through the Chromebook the Citrix PDF Printer is not automatically created. The printer is connected to the Chromebook through Google Cloud Print. The Citrix Workspace App settings on the Chromebook have been set so the printer is the default. 'Print as PDF' option within the Chromebook Citrix Workspace app doesn't work either.

Citrix Workspace App Chromebook
VDA needs to have the latest 'Citrix PDF Universal Printer' driver installed. Please make note that there are three flavors of Citrix UPD: 1. Citrix Universal Printer 2. Citrix XPS Universal Printer 3. Citrix PDF Universal Printer When you are connecting from the Windows client, it has the capabilities have VDCPM_CAPABILITY_EMF_PREVIEW_BIT (client is using unbound EMF stream) bit set and it can create the Generic PDF Printer using Citrix Universal Printer driver. In the case of chrome book, it does not have the above bit set and it will need Citrix PDF Universal Printer driver. Issue resolved with the release drivers for XAXD 7.15 CU3.
Workspace app for Chrome on Chromebooks appears top be ignoring power settings. For example, devices are going to sleep when they are set to not do so. Citrix have an EAR version of Workspace app that addresses power management.
